Finding Other Cat Lovers Thru Meetups
I seem to be destined to try new and different things. I rarely want to do what everyone else is doing. I have always liked blazing new trails. So, I have now added something new to my list of firsts: I have started the first Cat Lovers Meetup for the North Dallas and Plano area!
There are over 20 Dog Lovers Meetups in the Dallas area, I just couldn't let our dog lover friends have all the fun! Since I know cat lovers care just as much about their feline friends as dog lovers care about their canine friends, I decided to provide a venue for cat owners to get together and also have some fun through Meetups.
I was told to not be surprised if there were only 2 or 3 people at the first meeting. There were SEVEN cat lovers who came to the first meeting on Monday February 15! And, three more notified me about last minute problems which prevented them from attending.
We had a great time and shared some fun and helpful cat information. Three of the attendees have already RSVP'd for our next meeting on Tuesday March 8! The group has requested the main topic of discussion for our next meeting to be about food and treats for our feline family members. Since cats are such "foodies", I am sure they are hoping you will attend!
