A Different Kind of Consultation
I was recently asked to do a different kind of consultation by Chewy.com at their huge south Dallas distribution/fulfillment center, which opened in April, 2017. Apparently Chewy wants to understand our felines and their needs a bit better so they reached to me to evaluate the area where they do their cat photography. They work mostly with shelter cats and kittens to showcase cat toys, etc., which also helps the cats get adopted. COOL!! I was also asked to make recommendations for improvements to the cat area and for the people who work with the cats that primarily demo cat toys.
I was able to meet with several employees at this facility and I was very impressed with their interest and desire to make improvements there in the cat area and to better understand the unique needs of our feline friends.
Since cats are usually the “underdogs”, I am thrilled that Chewy.com is moving forward to gain insights and implement improvements for cats and cat products. I am impressed and encouraged that Chewy.com is interested in raising the bar to meet true cat needs even better!
